Jon Stewart

Last Saturday I attended a show featuring Jon Stewart as well as correspondents, writers, and producers from Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".

(Jon Stewart is a 9 time Emmy - winning American comedian, satirist, actor, author and producer.)

Now I have to be honest and admit that I haven't made time to see his shows in the few months I have been in the US, but I have heard so much about him & I had good fortune to attend this show at Ohio State University. There was a huge crowd of about 16,000 people to see him - absolutely amazing! I was quite amused, and shocked at the same time, at some of the clips they showed on American politics and the way elections are run at the local level.

Jon Stewart is extremely smart, funny, intelligent and good looking. His show manages to expose a lot of things that don't make sense and they are absolutely blunt and hilarious. No wonder so many students depend on the show for their daily dose of 'whats happening in America'.

Dude, your school sounds cutting edge .. what better guest speakers to have than the creaters of The Simpsons and The Daily Show?! They should get Matt Stone & Trey Parker on next dude, quite some wisdom they will pass.

But seriously, I get the Daily Show on NBC and its just plain awesome. I come back early from the office just to watch it! You should try to catch it and if you can watch some back episodes watch the episode where he interviewed Gen. Musharaf (yep, he did) and the other one with the Madonna/Malawi episode .. frckn hillarious.

And you can't not have watched Craig Fergusson, the current funniest man in the US, he hosts the Late Late Show right after Letterman on CBS.
